Professor Jens Pruessner

The Chair of Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Konstanz carries out studies that address behaviour and experiences that primarily affect the central nervous system.

An important research focus is placed on the effects of experiences leading to stress in early childhood.

In addition to looking at the direct effects on the structure and function of the central nervous system, our researchers are interested in the dysregulation of the autonomous and endocrine energy systems of organisms as well as their vulnerability to mental disorders.
