Start of Studies
Students can start the study programme in either the winter semester or the summer semester. You can find the access statutes at Downloads.
Application deadlines
- Winter semester: 15 September
- Summer semester: 15 March
Admission requirements
- A 4-year bachelor's degree or a master's degree in psychology, as well as a minimum of 1 year of work experience; or
- A qualification in psychiatry with comparable skills to those obtained for a degree in psychology (bachelor’s or equivalent), as well as a minimum of 1 year of work experience; or
- A first state examination in law, with comparable skills to those obtained for a degree in psychology (bachelor’s or equivalent), as well as a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
Tuition fees
Tuition costs 2,500 euros plus the general semester fee (currently 179 euros) per semester. The study programme's total tuition amount for the standard period of study of four semesters thus adds up to 10,000 euros plus 716 euros in semester fees. If the standard period of study is exceeded, additional tuition fees apply.

Language proficiency requirements
Although English is not a pre-requisite, a good understanding of the language is helpful for understanding scientific literature, which is mostly available in English.
