Curiosity and Exploration Scale

Description:

With the 7-item version of the Curiosity and Exploration Scale by Kashdan et al. (2004), two dimensions of curiosity, namely exploration and intake, can be recorded. Curiosity is defined as a purposeful pursuit of novelty and challenge, while intake refers to continuous activity engagement. The questionnaire contains a 4-point Likert scale ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree. A German version of the questionnaire was developed by Renner et al. (2006).
