How do children evaluate the feelings of others?
Age window: 3.5 years to 4.5 years
Duration: 30 minutes
In this study by our PhD student Bianca Dietrich and Master's student Natalie Brüderer, your child observes fantasy creatures in different playful situations. In the process, we show how other characters express their feelings about these situations. The different experiences of the fantasy beings are told as picture stories, about which we ask your child a few questions at the end.
A trained research assistant from our team will ask your child a few questions at the end. It is important to note that there are no right or wrong answers. You can watch the entire game at your convenience during our study.
