The Chair of Neuropsychology is offering for the first time an empirical internship on the topic of “physical effects on the autonomous nervous system” beginning in the 2017 summer semester.
This internship will first and foremost facilitate an understanding of the scientific method, from theory to experimental design models, up to the design and implementation of a scientific experiment. Furthermore, the focus will be placed on different psychological states that may have an influence on the regulation of the autonomous nervous system.
After coordinating within and consulting with the group in regard to a suitable experimental manipulation, an experiment will then be carried out during the second part of the internship in order to determine the effects on the regulation of the autonomic nervous system.
